Limitation on total expenditure for rural electrification.

2.—(1) The total expenditure of the Board for the electrification of rural areas shall not exceed twenty-five million pounds.

(2) The Minister for Finance shall not advance moneys to the Board and the Board shall not borrow moneys from any source for the electrification of rural areas if the total of moneys so advanced or borrowed, whether before or after the passing of this Act, would thereby exceed the limitation imposed by this section.
