STATE GUARANTEES ACT, 1954 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1954.

I, GERARD SWEETMAN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (2) of section 11 of the State Guarantees Act, 1954 (No. 9 of 1954), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the State Guarantees Act, 1954 (Commencement) Order, 1954.

2. The 5th day of October, 1954, is hereby appointed as the day on which the State Guarantees Act, 1954 (No. 9 of 1954) shall come into operation.
