TRANSPORT ACT, 1944 (ALTERATION OF MAXIMUM RAILWAY CHARGES OF THE GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY COMPANY (IRELAND)) ORDER, 1951 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1952.

I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 89 of the Transport Act, 1944 (No. 21 of 1944), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Transport Act, 1944 (Alteration of Maximum Railway Charges of the Great Northern Railway Company (Ireland)) Order, 1951 (Amendment) Order, 1952,

2. The Transport Act, 1944 (Alteration of Maximum Railway Charges of the Great Northern Railway Company (Ireland)) Order, 1951 ( S.I. No. 255 of 1951 ), is hereby amended as indicated in the Schedule hereto with effect on and from the 25th day of August, 1952.

SCHEDULE

The Schedule to the Transport Act, 1944 (Alteration of Maximum Railway Charges of the Great Northern Railway Company (Ireland)) Order, 1951 to be altered as follows :

(1) In Part I substitute—

for the words "thirty-one" the words " thirty-seven and a half"

for the words "thirty-seven" the words "forty-four,"

for the word "forty" the words "forty-seven,"

wherever they occur.

(2) In Part II—

Under the heading:

(i) Charges for the conveyance of Passengers,

substitute—

for the figures 3.289d. the figures 3.453d.

for the figures 2·633d. the figures 2·765d.

for the figures 2·339d. the figures 2·456d.
