SOCIAL WELFARE ACT, 1952 (SECTION 71) ORDER, 1952.

I, SÉAMAS Ó RIAIN, Minister for Social Welfare, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 71 of the Social Welfare Act, 1952 (No. 11 of 1952), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Social Welfare Act, 1952 (Section 71) Order, 1952.

2. Where—

(a) regulations are made under subsection (1) of section 7 of the Unemployment Assistance Act, 1933 (No. 46 of 1933),

(b) the regulations prescribe the form of a qualification certificate under that Act,

(c) the regulations are regulations coming into operation on the 25th day of June, 1952,

(d) a person was, immediately before that day, the holder of a qualification certificate in the form prescribed by the Unemployment Assistance (Qualification Certificate Regulations) (Amendment) Order, 1938 (S. R. & O., No. 194 of 1938), and

(e) such person fulfils the conditions stated in subsection (3) of section 10 of that Act as amended by subsection (1) of section 94 of the Social Welfare Act, 1952 (No. 11 of 1952),

that certificate shall have effect, and any determination in relation to that certificate shall be subject to reversal and to revision in the like manner, as if that certificate were in the form prescribed by the first-mentioned regulations.
