RIVER LIFFEY (LEIXLIP) HYDRO-ELECTRIC SCHEME APPROVAL ORDER, 1945 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1950.

WHEREAS under subsection (1) of section 5 of the Electricity (Supply) (Amendment) Act, 1945 (No. 12 of 145), the Electricity Supply Board has submitted to the Minister for Industry and Commerce an amendment of the River Liffey (Leixlip) Hydro-Electric Scheme :

AND WHEREAS the said Minister has considered the said amendment and has consulted with the Minister for Agriculture as to the steps to be taken by the said Board for the protection of fisheries :

NOW, I, DANIEL MORRISSEY, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Electricity (Supply) (Amendment) Act, 1945 (No. 12 of 1945), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the River Liffey (Leixlip) Hydro-Electric Scheme Approval Order, 1945 (Amendment) Order, 1950.

2. The River Liffey (Leixlip) Hydro-Electric Scheme Approval Order, 1945 ( S. R. & O. No. 154 of 1945 ), is hereby amended by the addition in Article 3 after the word " approved " of the following—

" and, with the consent of the Minister for Finance, the sum of £535,250 is hereby prescribed as the maximum sum to be advanced for the purpose of carrying out the scheduled Scheme ".
