ROYAL IRISH CONSTABULARY (RESIGNED AND DISMISSED) PENSIONS ORDER, 1949.

I, PATRICK McGILLIGAN, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Superannuation and Pensions Acts, 1923 and 1929, and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Royal Irish Constabulary (Resigned and Dismissed) Pensions Order, 1949.

2. (1) Part I of the Royal Irish Constabulary (Resigned and Dismissed) Pensions Order, 1929 ( S. R. & O. No. 57 of 1929 ), shall be construed and have effect as if the words " forty-five pounds " were substituted for the words " thirty pounds " in Article 6 thereof.

(2) Paragraph (1) of this Article shall be deemed to have come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1949.
