CUSTOMS-FREE AIRPORT ORDER, 1947.

I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 2 of the Customs-free Airport Act, 1947 (No. 5 of 1947), and with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance, testified by his official seal affixed hereto, hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Customs-free Airport Order, 1947.

2. In this Order—

" the map " means the map annexed hereto,

" the plan " means the plan annexed hereto,

" the Customs area " means the area indicated on the map by being bordered by a red line and hatched in red and on the plan by being bordered by a red line.

3. Articles 4 and 5 of this Order shall come into operation at 3 p.m. on the 21st day of April, 1947.

4. The outer limit of the Customs-free airport shall be a line in the position indicated by the outer margin of the red line marked A B C D E F G on the map and its inner limit shall be the boundary of the Customs area.

5.—(1) The land enclosed within the limits defined by Article 4 of this Order, namely, all the land bounded by the outer limit, except the Customs area, shall be the Customs-free airport for the purposes of the Customs-free Airport Act, 1947 (No. 5 of 1947).

(2) The Customs-free airport comprises parts of the townlands of Caherteige, Lismacleane, Ballycally, Garrynamona, Ballyhennessy, Rineanna South and Drumgeely, all in the barony of Bunratty Lower and County of Clare.
