AIR NAVIGATION AND TRANSPORT ACT, 1936 (AVIATION BUSINESS) REGULATIONS, 1947.

I, SEAN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1936 (No. 40 of 1936), hereby make the following regulations :

1. These regulations may be cited as the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1936 (Aviation Business) Regulations, 1947.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these regulations.

3. Every application under Part X of the Air Navigation and Transport Act, 1936 (No. 40 of 1936), shall :—

(a) be in whichever is appropriate of the forms set out in the First Schedule hereto, and

(b) contain the particulars indicated in the form.

4.—(1) Every person carrying on business under an aviation business licence shall, within two months after the 31st day of March in each year, furnish to the Minister a return in respect of the business for the twelve months ending on the 31st day of March in that year, or, if the business was commenced during the said twelve months, for the period from such commencement to the said 31st day of March.

(2) The return shall be in the form set out in the Second Schedule hereto and contain the particulars indicated in the form.

5. Every person carrying on business under an aviation business licence shall keep such accounts in respect of the business as will enable him to furnish to the Minister the returns referred to in Article 4 of these regulations.

FIRST SCHEDULE.
