OFFENCES AGAINST THE STATE ACT, 1939 (MILITARY CUSTODY) (AMENDMENT) (No. 6) REGULATIONS, 1946.

I, OSCAR TRAYNOR, Minister for Defence, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (4) of section 50 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939 (No. 13 of 1939), do hereby make the following regulations, that is to say :—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Offences Against the State Act, 1939 (Military Custody) (Amendment) (No 6) Regulations, 1946.

2. These Regulations shall be included amongst the Regulations which may be cited together as the Offences Against the State Act, 1939 (Military Custody) Regulations, 1939 to 1946.

3. In these Regulations—

the expression " the Principal Regulations " means the Offences Against the State Act, 1939 (Military Custody) Regulations, 1939 (S. R. & O., No. 288 of 1939) ;

the expression " the No. 5 Amendment Regulations " means the Offences Against the State Act, 1939 (Military Custody) (Amendment) (No. 5) Regulations, 1942 (S. R. & O., No. 338 of 1942).

4. The Principal Regulations are hereby amended in the following respects and shall be construed and have effect accordingly, that is to say :—

(a) by the deletion of Paragraph 69 as published in the No. 5 Amendment Regulations ;

(b) by the deletion of the words " Rules for Prisons detailed under " C " of Appendix 1 " (which said words were inserted before Appendix 1 by the No. 5 Amendment. Regulations) ;

(c) by the deletion of the words " C. Curragh No. 1 Internment Camp, Curragh Camp, County Kildare " (which said words were inserted at the end of Appendix 1 by the No. 5 Amendment Regulations).

5. The No. 5 Amendment Regulations are hereby revoked.
