TRADE BOARDS (SUGAR CONFECTIONERY AND FOOD PRESERVING TRADE) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1945.

The Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 11 of the Trade Boards Act, 1909, as adapted by or under subsequent enactments, and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby makes the following Regulations :

1 Short title and commencement

1. —(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Trade Boards (Sugar Confectionery and Food Preserving Trade) (Amendment) Regulations, 1945.

(2) These Regulations shall come into operation on the 1st day of September, 1945.

2 Amendment of Regulations of 1st March, 1933.

2. In the Regulations made with respect to the Sugar Confectionery and Food Preserving Trade Board by the Minister for Industry and Commerce on the 1st day of March, 1933, every reference to the trade to which the said Regulations relate (whether such reference is without qualification or includes a reference to the Trade Boards (Sugar Confectionery and Food Preserving) Order, 1913, and the Schedule to the said Regulations) shall be construed as a reference to the sugar confectionery and food preserving trade as specified in the Schedule to the Trade Boards (Sugar Confectionery and Food Preserving Trade) Special Order, 1945.
