STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1944. No. 299.

DUBLIN FEVER HOSPITAL ACT, 1936 (ADAPTATION) ORDER, 1944.

WHEREAS by sub-section (1) of Section 54 of the Local Government Act, 1941 (in this Order referred to as " the Act ") it is provided that the Minister for Local Government and Public Health (in this Order referred to as " the Minister ") may by order make all such adaptations and modifications of any enactment in force immediately before the commencement of Section 54 of the Act as may appear to him to be necessary or expedient for enabling such enactment to have full force and effect :

AND WHEREAS the Dublin Fever Hospital Act, 1936 , is an enactment in force immediately before the commencement of Section 54 of the Act :

AND WHEREAS it appears to the Minister to be necessary and expedient for enabling sub-section (2) of Section 38 of the Dublin Fever Hospital Act, 1936 , to have full force and effect to make the adaptations and modifications hereinafter appearing :

NOW THEREFORE, the Minister in exercise of the powers vested in him by sub-section (1) of Section 54 of the Act and of every other power in this behalf him enabling hereby orders as follows, that is to say :—

1. Sub-section (2) of Section 38 of the Dublin Fever Hospital Act, 1936 , shall be adapted and modified by substituting for each reference therein to Section 72 of the Local Government Act, 1925 , as amended by subsequent enactments a reference to Part IV., Section 83 and Section 86 of the Act.

2. This Order may be cited as the Dublin Fever Hospital Act, 1936 (Adaptation) Order, 1944.
