ELECTORAL (CHAIRMAN OF DAIL EIREANN) ACT, 1937 (FORM OF CERTIFICATE) ORDER, 1943.

DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC HEALTH.

ELECTORAL (CHAIRMAN OF DAIL EIREANN) ACT, 1937 .

The Minister for Local Government and Public Health in exercise of the power conferred on him by paragraph (b) of section 4 of the Electoral (Chairman of Dáil Eireann) Act, 1937 as modified by section 6 of the General Elections (Emergency Provisions) Act, 1943 , and in exercise of every other power enabling him in this behalf hereby orders and prescribes that for the purposes of any general election held under the said General Elections (Emergency Provisions) Act, 1943 , the certificate required under the said paragraph (b) shall be in the form set forth in the schedule to this Order.

I.............................................Clerk of Dáil Éireann, in pursuance of paragraph (b) of section 4 of the Electoral (Chairman of Dáil Eireann) Act, 1937, as modified by section 6 of the General Elections (Emergency Provisions) Act, 1943 , do hereby certify that.............................................who was immediately before the direction given by the President under the said General Elections (Emergency Provisions) Act, 1943 , on the........................day of............................................. 19......... that a general election should take place a member of Dáil Eireann for the above-named Constituency and the Chairman of Dáil Eireann, did not before the said direction announce to Dáil Eireann that he did not desire to become a member of Dáil Eireann at the said general election.
