MINERALS EXPLORATION AND DEVELOPMENT (APPLICATION FOR COMPENSATION) REGULATIONS, 1941.

WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section (2) of section 23 of the Minerals Exploration and Development Company Act, 1941 (No. 13 of 1941), that the Minister for Industry and Commerce may make regulations prescribing the form of application for compensation and the form of application for assessment of compensation under that section and the particulars to be specified in those forms respectively:

NOW, I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the power conferred on me by sub-section (2) of section 23 of the Minerals Exploration and Development Company Act, 1941 (No. 13 of 1941), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling do hereby make the following regulations:—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Minerals Exploration and Development (Application for Compensation) Regulations, 1941.

2. Form No. 1 set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby prescribed as the form of application under section 23 of the Minerals Exploration and Development Company Act, 1941 (No. 13 of 1941), by a person claiming to be the proprietor of an existing mining business for compensation in respect of that business.

3. Form No. 2 set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby prescribed as the form of application under the said section 23 by a person claiming to be interested in an existing mining business as an incumbrancer for the assessment of the compensation in respect of that business.

FORM NO. 1.
