STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1939. No. 146.

AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE (CEREALS) (EXEMPTED FEEDING STUFFS) ORDER, 1939.

WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section (3) of Section 18 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1938 (No. 16 of 1938), that the Minister for Agriculture may, whenever and so often as he thinks fit, by order under the said sub-section declare that a particular article shall be an exempted feeding stuff for the purposes of the Fourth Schedule to the said Act :

NOW, THEREFORE, the Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sub-section (3) of Section 18 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1938 (No. 16 of 1938), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby orders as follows:—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) (Exempted Feeding Stuffs) Order, 1939.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 29th day of May, 1939.

2. Each of the following articles shall be an exempted feeding stuff for the purposes of the Fourth Schedule to the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1938 (No. 16 of 1938), that is to say :—

Decorticated and undecorticated cotton seed cake,

Decorticated and undecorticated cotton seed cubes,

Decorticated and undecorticated cotton seed nuts,

Decorticated and undecorticated cotton seed flakes.
