THE INLAND POST AMENDMENT (No. 33) WARRANT, 1938.

DEPARTMENT OF POSTS AND TELEGRAPHS.

DATED 18TH DAY OF MAY, 1938.

I, the Minister for Finance in exercise of all the powers now vested in me by the Post Office Acts, 1908 to 1937, the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1922 , the Ministers and Secretaries Act, 1924 , and of all other powers enabling me in this behalf, do, by this Warrant, made on the representation of the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs (testified by his signing the same) order, direct, and declare as follows:—

(1) This Warrant shall be read as one with the Inland Post Warrant, 1903, and all Warrants amending the same.

(2) (i) On and from the date on which this Warrant comes into operation the Warrant mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be repealed to the extent mentioned in the third column of such Schedule.

(ii) The repeal by this Warrant or any Warrant shall not affect—

(a) anything done or suffered before this Warrant comes into operation; or

(b) any legal proceeding commenced before this Warrant comes into operation in pursuance of any Warrant hereby repealed, and any such legal proceeding may be carried on and completed as if this Warrant had not been made.

(3) This Warrant may be cited as "The Inland Post Amendment (No. 33) Warrant, 1938."

(4) This Warrant shall come into operation on the 19th day of May, 1938.
