Constitution (Amendment No. 24) Act, 1936

Amendment of Article 12 of the Constitution.

1.—Article 12 of the Constitution is hereby amended as follows, that is to say:—

(a) by the deletion therefrom of the words “two Houses” and the insertion therein of the words “one House” in lieu of the said words so deleted; and

(b) by the deletion therefrom of the words “and the Senate (otherwise called and herein generally referred to as ‘Seanad Eireann’).”
