Returning officers and assistant returning officers. |
4.—(1) The officer specified in the second column of the Second Schedule to this Act opposite the name in the first column of the said Second Schedule of any constituency shall be the returning officer for that constituency. | |
(2) The provisions contained in the third column of the Second Schedule to this Act opposite the name in the first column of the said Second Schedule of any constituency shall have effect in relation to the assistant returning officer for that constituency. | ||
(3) Sub-section (1) of section 23 of the Principal Act is hereby repealed. |
