DAIRY PRODUCE (PRICE STABILISATION) ACT, 1933.


AN ACT TO AMEND THE DAIRY PRODUCE (PRICE STABILISATION) ACT, 1932 . [13th April, 1933.]

BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS OF SAORSTÁT EIREANN AS FOLLOWS:—

The Principal Act.

1.—In this Act the expression “the Principal Act” means the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1932 (No. 10 of 1932).

Amendments of the Principal Act.

2.—The Principal Act shall be construed and have effect as if the sections and sub-sections thereof mentioned in the first column of the Schedule to this Act were respectively amended in the manner set out in the second column of that Schedule opposite each such section and sub-section.

Short title and citation.

3.—This Act may be cited as the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1933, and the Principal Act and this Act may be cited together as the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Acts, 1932 and 1933.

AMENDMENTS OF THE PRINCIPAL ACT.

How Amended.

Section 6.

By the deletion of sub-section (2) and the insertion in lieu thereof of three new sub-sections as follows:—

“(2) In making regulations under this section prescribing the general rate the Minister may prescribe different general rates in respect of creamery butter and butter which is not creamery butter.

(3) In this Act the expression ‘the general rate for creamery butter’ means the rate for the time being in force by virtue of regulations under this section in respect of creamery butter.

(4) In this Act the expression ‘the general rate for non-creamery butter’ means the rate for the time being in force by virtue of regulations under this section in respect of butter which is not creamery butter.”
