STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1931. No. 82.

AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE (POTATOES) ACT, 1931 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1931.

WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Agricultural Produce (Potatoes) Act, 1931 (No. 26 of 1931), that the said Act shall come into operation on such day as shall be fixed for that purpose by order of the Minister for Agriculture.

NOW, I, PATRICK HOGAN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the power conferred on me by the Agricultural Produce (Potatoes) Act, 1931 (No. 26 of 1931), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling do hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Agricultural Produce (Potatoes) Act, 1931 (Commencement) Order, 1931.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. The 18th day of January, 1932, is hereby fixed and appointed as the day on which the Agricultural Produce (Potatoes) Act, 1931 (No. 26 of 1931), shall come into operation.
