Constitution (Amendment No. 16) Act, 1929

Amendment of Article 50 of the Constitution.

1.—Article 50 of the Constitution shall be and is hereby amended by the deletion therefrom of the words “eight years” in each of the places in which those words now occur therein and the insertion in each case of the words “sixteen years” in lieu of the words so deleted, and the said Article 50 shall be construed and have effect accordingly.
