S.I. No. 913/1927 - 08/03/1927: Fishery Close Season By-Law No. C.S. 78 No. 6 Or Kenmare District


CLOSE SEASON

I, FIONÁN O LOINGSIGH, Minister for Fisheries, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in me by the Fisheries Act, 1925 , and of every other power enabling me in this behalf, do MAKE AND ORDAIN THE FOLLOWING BY-LAW:—

(1) The period appointed by the Order dated the 14th November, 1882, for the close season during which it shall not be lawful to take salmon and trout by means of single rods and lines in the No. 63 or Kenmare District, as defined in accordance with the Fisheries Acts, shall cease.

(2) The close season within which it shall not be lawful to take salmon and trout by means of single rods and lines in the said No. 63 or Kenmare District shall be from the fifteenth day of October to the fourteenth day of March next following, both said days inclusive.

(3) This by-law may be cited for all purposes as the Kenmare District Close Season By-law, No. C.S. 78, 1927.

(4) This By-Law shall come into operation on the 14th day of March, 1927.
