Tumultuous Risings (Extension) Act, 1777



An Act for reviving and continuing several temporary statutes.


Tumults, Gaols, 15 & 16 G. 3. c. 21. extended to cities and counties of cities.

VIII. And be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, That the several clauses and provisions in said act (a) ) contained shall extend to all cities and counties of cities within this kingdom; and that the said recited act together with the said two clauses be continued in force unto the twenty fourth day of June one thousand seven hundred and eighty, and from thence to the end of the then next session of Parliament.
