I, JAMES BROWNE, Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (3) of section 1 of the Planning and Development Act 2024 (No. 34 of 2024), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Planning and Development Act 2024 (Commencement) Order 2026. | ||
2. The 8th day of May 2026 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Planning and Development Act 2024 (No. 34 of 2024) shall, to the extent specified, come into operation: | ||
(a) sections 291, 292 and 293; | ||
(b) paragraph (a) of subsection (1) and subsections (3) and (4) of section 294; | ||
(c) subsection (2) of section 294 in so far only as it applies to paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of section 294; | ||
(d) section 298 (other than paragraph (b) of subsection (5) and subsections (6) and (8)); | ||
(e) section 300 in so far only as it applies to section 294; | ||
(f) section 301; | ||
(g) section 302 (other than paragraph (c) in so far as it inserts section 154B of the Legal Services Regulation Act 2015 (No. 65 of 2015)). | ||
