S.I. No. 137/2024 - Credit Union Act 1997 (Section 38) Order 2024

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 12th April, 2024.

I, MICHAEL MCGRATH, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (3) of section 38 of the Credit Union Act 1997 (No. 15 of 1997), having consulted with the Advisory Committee and having regard to the matters specified in subsection (5) of that section, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Credit Union Act 1997 (Section 38) Order 2024.

2. The rate of 2 per cent per month is specified for the purpose of subsection (1)(a) of section 38 of the Credit Union Act 1997 (No. 15 of 1997).
