I, RODERIC O’GORMAN, Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Mother and Baby Institutions Payment Scheme Act 2023 (No. 20 of 2023), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Mother and Baby Institutions Payment Scheme Act 2023 (Commencement) Order 2024. | ||
2. In this Order, “Act of 2023” means the Mother and Baby Institutions Payment Scheme Act 2023 (No. 20 of 2023). | ||
3. The 4th day of March 2024 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Act of 2023 shall come into operation: | ||
(a) Part 1; | ||
(b) sections 7 to 11; | ||
(c) section 28; | ||
(d) sections 44, 45, 49, 51, 52, 53 and 54. | ||
4. The 20th day of March 2024 is appointed as the day on which the Act of 2023 (other than sections 41 and 42), insofar as it is not already in operation, shall come into operation. | ||
