I, MALCOLM NOONAN, Minister of State at the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by
sections 8
(2) and
25
of the
Wildlife Act 1976
(No. 39 of 1976), the Heritage (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2020 (
S.I. No. 339 of 2020
) (as adapted by the Housing, Planning and Local Government (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2020 (
S.I. No. 408 of 2020
)) and the Housing, Local Government and Heritage (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order 2023 (
S.I. No. 615 of 2023
) hereby order as follows:

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Wildlife (Wild Mammals) (Open Seasons) (Amendment) Order 2024.
|
| |
(2) The Wildlife (Wild Mammals) (Open Seasons) Orders 2005 to 2012 and this Order may be cited together as the Wildlife (Wild Mammals) (Open Seasons) Orders 2005 to 2024.
|

2. In this Order, the “Principal Order” means the Wildlife (Wild Mammals) (Open Seasons) Order 2005 (
S.I. No. 550 of 2005
).

3. The Principal Order is amended by the substitution in Regulation 1 of “(Open Seasons) Order, 2005” for “(Open Seasons Order, 2005”.

4. The Principal Order is amended by the substitution of the following Schedule for the Schedule to the Principal Order:
