S.I. No. 16/2024 - Election of Members for Appointment to the Occupational therapists Registration Board (Amendment) Bye-law 2024

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 26th January, 2024.

The Occupational Therapists Registration Board, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 31 of the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005 , with the approval of the Health and Social Care Professionals Council, hereby makes the following bye-law:

1. (1) This bye-law may be cited as the Election of Members for Appointment to the Occupational Therapists Registration Board (Amendment) Bye-law 2024.

(2) The Principal Bye-law and this bye-law may be cited together as the Election of Members for Appointment to the Occupational Therapists Registration Board Bye-laws 2023 and 2024.

2. (1) In this bye-law “Principal Bye-Law” means the Election of Members for Appointment to the Occupational Therapists Registration Board Bye-law 2023 ( S.I. No. 358 of 2023 ).

3. Paragraph 7 of the Principal Bye-Law is amended in subparagraph (2) by substituting “23” for “24”.

4. The Election of Members for Appointment to the Occupational Therapists Registration Board Bye-law 2016 ( S.I. No. 480 of 2016 ) is revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This bye-law corrects a typographical error in paragraph 7(2) of the Election of Members for Appointment to the Occupational Therapists Registration Board Bye-law 2023.

This bye-law also revokes the Election of Members for Appointment to the Occupational Therapists Registration Board Bye-law 2016 ( S.I. No. 480 of 2016 ).
