I, DARA CALLEARY, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 25 (2) of the Personal Injuries Resolution Board Act 2022 (No. 42 of 2022) and the Enterprise, Trade and Employment (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) (No. 2) Order 2023 ( S.I. No. 15 of 2023 ), hereby order as follows: | ||
1. This Order may be cited as the Personal Injuries Resolution Board Act 2022 (Commencement of Certain Provisions) (No. 3) Order 2023. | ||
2. In this Order, “Act of 2022” means the Personal Injuries Resolution Board Act 2022 (No. 42 of 2022). | ||
3. The 12th day of December 2023 is appointed as the day on which section 2 of the Act of 2022 shall come into operation. | ||
4. The 14th day of December 2023 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Act of 2022 shall come into operation: | ||
(a) section 3, insofar as it is not already in operation; | ||
(b) sections 4, 5 and 6; | ||
(c) section 7, insofar as it is not already in operation; | ||
(d) section 8; | ||
(e) section 9, insofar as it relates to the insertion of Chapter 1A of the Principal Act, with reference to the class of civil action referred to in paragraph (a) of section 3 of that Act; | ||
(f) section 10; | ||
(g) sections 11, 12, 13 and 17 insofar as they are not already in operation; | ||
(h) sections 19, 23 and 24. | ||
