S.I. No. 585/2023 - Road Traffic and Roads Act 2023 (Commencement) (No. 3) Order 2023

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 1st December, 2023.

I, EAMON RYAN, Minister for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1 (2) of the Road Traffic and Roads Act 2023 (No. 16 of 2023), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic and Roads Act 2023 (Commencement) (No. 3) Order 2023.

2. The 30th day of November 2023 is appointed as the day on which paragraph (l) of section 5 of the Road Traffic and Roads Act 2023 (No. 16 of 2023) shall come into operation, insofar as it relates to the following provisions of section 5 6A of the Road Traffic Act 1961 (No. 24 of 1961):

(a) subsection (7)(c), and

(b) subsections (8) to (10).
