S.I. No. 337/2023 - Data Sharing and Governance Act 2019 (Exempted Body) Order 2023

I, PASCHAL DONOHOE, Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 10 (2) of the Data Sharing and Governance Act 2019 (No. 5 of 2019) (as adapted by the Public Expenditure and Reform (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2023 ( S.I. No. 19 of 2023 )), with the consent of the Minister for Finance, being the Minister of the Government in whom functions in relation to the Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland are vested, and having had regard to the matters referred to in section 10(3) of that Act, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Data Sharing and Governance Act 2019 (Exempted Body) Order 2023.

2. The Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland, being a body that would, but for this Order, otherwise be included in the definition of “public body” in subsection (1) of section 10 of the Data Sharing and Governance Act 2019 (No. 5 of 2019), is hereby exempted.

The Minister for Finance consents to the making of the foregoing Order.
