S.I. No. 215/2023 - Official Languages (Amendment) Act 2021 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order 2023

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 5th May, 2023.

I, CATHERINE MARTIN, Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 20 (3) of the Official Languages (Amendment) Act 2021 (No. 49 of 2021), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Official Languages (Amendment) Act 2021 (Commencement) (No. 2) Order 2023.

2. The 5th day of May 2023 is appointed as the day on which section 3 of the Official Languages (Amendment) Act 2021 (No. 49 of 2021) shall come into operation.
