S.I. No. 72/2023 - Broadcasting Act 2009 (Establishment Day) Order 2023

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 24th February, 2023.

I, CATHERINE MARTIN, Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5 of the Broadcasting Act 2009 (No. 18 of 2009) (as substituted by section 8 of the Online Safety and Media Regulation Act 2022 (No. 41 of 2022)), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Broadcasting Act 2009 (Establishment Day) Order 2023.

2. The 15th day of March 2023 is appointed to be the establishment day for the purposes of the Broadcasting Act 2009 (No. 18 of 2009).
