S.I. No. 596/2022 - Consumer Rights Act 2022 (Commencement) Order 2022

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 2nd December, 2022.

I, LEO VARADKAR, Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1(2) of the Consumer Rights Act 2022 (No. 37 of 2022), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Consumer Rights Act 2022 (Commencement) Order 2022.

2. The 29th day of November 2022 is appointed as the day on which the Consumer Rights Act 2022 (No. 37 of 2022), other than section 161, shall come into operation.
