S.I. No. 554/2022 - Higher Education Authority Act 2022 (Commencement) Order 2022

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 11th November, 2022.

I, SIMON HARRIS, Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 1(2) of the Higher Education Authority Act 2022 (No. 31 of 2022), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Higher Education Authority Act 2022 (Commencement) Order 2022.

2. The 10th day of November 2022 is appointed as the day on which the following provisions of the Higher Education Authority Act 2022 shall come into operation:

(a) sections 1 to 52;

(b) section 53, other than subsection (1)(b);

(c) section 60;

(d) sections 64 to 68;

(e) section 69 insofar as it relates to notices of appeal under section 42(6) or 65(4);

(f) sections 70 to 84;

(g) sections 88 to 94;

(h) section 96;

(i) section 104;

(j) sections 106 to 140;

(k) sections 142 to 145.
