S.I. No. 477/2022 - Credit Institutions Resolution Fund Levy (Amendment) Regulations 2022


Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

I, PASCHAL DONOHOE, Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 15 of the Central Bank and Credit Institutions (Resolution) Act 2011 (No. 27 of 2011), having consulted with the Central Bank of Ireland and the Credit Union Advisory Committee, hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Credit Institutions Resolution Fund Levy (Amendment) Regulations 2022.

2. The Credit Institutions Resolution Fund Levy Regulations 2012 ( S.I. No. 381 of 2012 ) (amended by the Credit Institutions Resolution Fund Levy (Amendment) Regulations 2021 ( S.I. No. 481 of 2021 )) are amended -

(a) in Regulation 2 -

(i) in paragraph (1), by the substitution of the following definition for the definition of “levy period”:

“ ‘levy period’ means the period commencing on 1 October 2022 and ending on 30 September 2023.”, and

(ii) in paragraph (3), by the substitution of “30 June 2022” for “30 June 2021”,

(b) in Regulation 3(1), by the substitution of “1 October 2022” for “1 October 2021”,

(c) in Regulation 4(1), by the substitution of “28 February 2023” for “28

February 2022”, and

(d) in Column (3) of the Schedule, opposite Reference Number 5, by the substitution of “0.024725 per cent” for “0.024914 per cent”.
