I, CHARLIE MCCONALOGUE, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 3 and 14 of the Sea-Fisheries and Maritime Jurisdiction Act 2006 (No. 8 of 2006), for the purpose of giving further effect to Council Regulation (EU) No 1224/2009 of 20 November 20091 , Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 404/2011 of 8 April 20112 and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/30 of 14 January 20203 , hereby make the following regulations: | ||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Sea-Fisheries (Community Control System) (Amendment) Regulations 2022. | ||
2. The Sea-Fisheries (Community Control System) Regulations 2016 ( S.I. No. 54 of 2016 ) are amended— | ||
(a) In Regulation 2(1), by inserting after “28 October 2015” in the definition of “Commission Regulation” the following: “and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/30 of 14 January 2020”, | ||
(b) In Regulation 4(1)(b), by inserting “81,” after “80(1) and (2),”, | ||
(c) In Regulation 4(4)(a), by substituting “Council Regulation” for “Control Regulation”, and | ||
(d) In Regulation 7, by substituting “Council Regulation” for “Control Regulation” in each place it occurs. | ||
