I, CHARLIE MCCONALOGUE, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 3 and 14 of the Sea-Fisheries and Maritime Jurisdiction Act 2006 (No. 8 of 2006) and the Sea-Fisheries, Foreshore and Dumping at Sea (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2007 ( S.I. No. 707 of 2007 ) (as adapted by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 455 of 2011 )), for the purpose of giving full effect to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 404/2011 of 8 April 20111 , Regulation (EU) 2019/1241 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 20192 and Commission Regulation (EC) No 129/2003 of 24 January 20033 , hereby make the following regulations: | ||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Sea-Fisheries (Revocation) Regulations 2021. | ||
2. The following statutory instruments are revoked: | ||
(a) the Passive Fishing Gear and Beam Trawls Marking and Identification (No.2) Regulations 2006 ( S.I. No. 341 of 2006 ); | ||
(b) the Sea Fisheries (Tuna and Certain Other Species Fishing) Regulations 2005 ( S.I. No. 353 of 2005 ); | ||
(c) the Sea Fisheries (Tuna and Certain Other Species Fishing) Order, 2002 ( S.I. No. 322 of 2002 ); | ||
(d) the Sea Fisheries (Regulation of Nets) Order, 1993, ( S.I. No. 264 of 1993 ). | ||
