S.I. No. 562/2021 - Health Act 1947 (Regulations Relating to Mandatory Quarantine in Designated Facilities) (Revocation) Regulations 2021

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 2nd November, 2021.

I, STEPHEN DONNELLY, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 5, 31A (inserted by section 10 of the Health (Preservation and Protection and other Emergency Measures in the Public Interest) Act 2020 (No. 1 of 2020)), and 38G and 38K (inserted by section 7 of the Health (Amendment) Act 2021 (No. 1 of 2021)) of the Health Act 1947 (No. 28 of 1947) hereby make the following regulations:

1. (1) These regulations may be cited as the Health Act 1947 (Regulations relating to mandatory quarantine in designated facilities) (Revocation) Regulations 2021.

(2) These Regulations shall come into effect on the 1st day of November 2021.

2. The following are revoked:

(a) the Health Act 1947 (Section 38G) (Payment of chargeable costs) (Covid-19) Regulations 2021 ( S.I. No. 125 of 2021 );

(b) the Health Act 1947 (Personal Data) Regulations 2021 ( S.I. No. 126 of 2021 );

(c) the Health Act 1947 (Exempted Traveller) (Covid-19) Regulations 2021 ( S.I. No. 134 of 2021 );

(d) the Health Act 1947 (Section 38G – Rules and Procedures for Review of Quarantine) (Covid-19) Regulations 2021 ( S.I. No. 143 of 2021 );

(e) the Health Act 1947 (Section 38G – conduct of RT-PCR tests – prescribed persons) (Covid-19) Regulations 2021 ( S.I. No. 144 of 2021 ).

These Regulations made under Sections 5, 31 A (inserted by section 10 of the Health (Preservation and Protection and other Emergency Measures in the Public Interest) Act 2020 (No. 1 of 2020)), 38G and 38K (inserted by section 7 of the Health (Amendment) Act 2021 (No. 1 of 2021)) of the Health Act 1947 (No. 28 of 1947) revoke Statutory Instruments 125, 126, 134, 143, and 144 of 2021.
