S.I. No. 308/2021 - Public Service Pay and Pensions Act 2017 (section 19(4)) Order 2021

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 29th June, 2021.

I, MICHAEL MCGRATH, Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 19 (4) of the Public Service Pay and Pensions Act 2017 (No. 34 of 2017), hereby make the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Public Service Pay and Pensions Act 2017 (section 19(4)) Order 2021.

2. This Order applies to a public servant to whom section 19 of the Public Service Pay and Pensions Act 2017 (No. 34 of 2017) applies.

3. On and from 1 July 2021, the annualised amount of the basic salary of a public servant to whom this Order applies shall stand at the amount at which it stood immediately before the enactment of section 2 of the No. 2 Act of 2009.
