S.I. No. 307/2021 - Education (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2007 (Vesting) Order 2021

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 29th June, 2021.

WHEREAS I, NORMA FOLEY, Minister for Education, being satisfied that the use by the Cork Education and Training Board of the land and property to which this order relates is not necessary for the performance by the Cork Education and Training Board of its functions;

NOW I, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 7 (as amended by section 72 of the Education and Training Boards Act 2013 (No. 11 of 2013) and the Finance (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 418 of 2011 )) of the Education (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2007 (as adapted by the Education and Skills (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2020 ( S.I. No. 450 of 2020 )), with the consent of the Cork Education and Training Board and the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, hereby make the following order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Education (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2007 (Vesting) Order 2021.

2. The lands described in the Schedule together with all property relating thereto whether real or personal and all rights, powers or privileges relating to or connected with such lands or property which in each case stands vested in Cork Education and Training Board on the 1st day of July 2021 shall on that day vest in the Commissioners of Public Works in Ireland.
