S.I. No. 509/2020 - National Milk Agency (Members) Regulations 2020

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

I, CHARLIE MCCONALOGUE, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 2 of, and the Schedule to, the Milk (Regulation of Supply) Act 1994 (No. 25 of 1994) (as adapted by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2011 ( S.I. No. 455 of 2011 )) hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the National Milk Agency (Members) Regulations 2020.

2. The appropriate number of ordinary members of the Agency shall be as follows:

(a) representing the interests of consumers — three;

(b) representing the interests of retailers — two;

(c) representing the interests of distributors — one;

(d) representing the interests of processors — four;

(e) representing the interests of producers — five.

3. The National Milk Agency (Members) Regulations 1995 ( S.I. No. 234 of 1995 ) are revoked.
