S.I. No. 547/2019 - Courts (Supplemental Provisions) Act 1961 (Judicial Remuneration) (Section 46(9)) (No. 2) Order 2019


Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 8th November, 2019.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by subsection (9) of section 46 of the Courts (Supplemental Provisions) Act 1961 (No. 39 of 1961), and having had regard to the matter specified in paragraph (b) of that subsection, hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Courts (Supplemental Provisions) Act 1961 (Judicial Remuneration) (Section 46(9)) (No.2) Order 2019.

2. This Order is deemed to have come into operation on 1 September 2019.

3. This Order applies to a judge whose appointment to the judicial office concerned occurred before the commencement of section 10 of the Financial Emergency Measures in the Public Interest (Amendment) Act 2011 (No. 39 of 2011).

4. The annual sum payable by way of remuneration to a judge holding a judicial office specified in column (1) of the Schedule is the sum specified in column (2) of that Schedule opposite the judicial office specified in column (1).
