Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 8th November, 2019.

I, SIMON HARRIS, Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 5 (2) of the Children and Family Relationships (Amendment) Act 2018 (No. 20 of 2018), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Children and Family Relationships (Amendment) Act 2018 (Commencement) Order 2019.

2. The 4th day of May 2020 is appointed as the day on which the Children and Family Relationships (Amendment) Act 2018 (No. 20 of 2018) shall come into operation.

This Order commences the Children and Family Relationships (Amendment) Act 2018 . The Children and Family Relationships (Amendment) Act 2018 amends sections 4, 14, and 16 of the Children and Family Relationships Act 2015 .
