S.I. No. 427/2019 - Animal Health Levies (Pigs) Regulations 2019

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 16th August, 2019.

I, MICHAEL CREED, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 26 (2) of the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 (No. 15 of 2013), hereby make the following regulations with respect to which, pursuant to section 26(3) of the Act, a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution approving the draft has been passed by each such House:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Animal Health Levies (Pigs) Regulations 2019 and come into operation on the 1st day of September 2019.

2. The prescribed amount of levy payable under section 26 of the Animal Health and Welfare Act 2013 (No. 15 of 2013) is €0.04 as regards a porcine animal slaughtered or exported live from the State.
