32. Section 248(2) of the Act of 2005 is amended by the insertion of the following paragraph after paragraph (eb) (inserted by section 13(1) of the Social Welfare, Pensions and Civil Registration Act 2018):
“(ec) where a person is in receipt of parent’s benefit and the child in respect of whom that person is providing or assisting with his or her care dies, payment of the parent’s benefit shall continue to be made,”.
