Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 31st March, 2017.

I, FRANCES FITZGERALD, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 (No. 27 of 1972) hereby make the following regulations:

1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (Combating the Sexual Abuse and Sexual Exploitation of Children and Child Pornography) (Amendment) Regulations 2017 and come into operation on 27th March 2017.

2. Regulation 3 and Regulation 9 of the European Union (Combating the Sexual Abuse and Sexual Exploitation of Children and Child Pornography) Regulations 2015 ( S.I. No. 309 of 2015 ) are revoked.
