S.I. No. 112/2017 - Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act 2017 (Commencement) Order 2017.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 31st March, 2017.

I, FRANCES FITZGERALD, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (2) of section 1 of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act 2017 (No. 2 of 2017), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act 2017 (Commencement) Order 2017.

2. The 27th day of March 2017 is appointed as the day on which Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 and 8 (other than sections 46, 47, 51(b) and 52) of the Criminal Law (Sexual Offences) Act 2017 (No. 2 of 2017) shall come into operation.
