S.I. No. 332/2016 - Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2016.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 1st July, 2016.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby orders as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2016.

2. The powers and duties of the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht conferred on her—

(a) by or under the Acts of the Oireachtas or statutes which were in force in Saorstát Éireann immediately before the date of the coming into operation of the Constitution and which continued in force by virtue of Article 50 of the Constitution specified in Part 1 of the Schedule,

(b) by or under the provisions of the Acts of the Oireachtas specified in Part 2 of the Schedule, and

(c) under the provisions of the Regulations specified in Part 3 of the Schedule,

are delegated to Seán Kyne, Minister of State at the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht.
