S.I. No. 11/2016 - Criminal Justice (Mutual Assistance) (Amendment) Act 2015 (Commencement) Order 2016.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 15th January, 2016.

I, FRANCES FITZGERALD, Minister for Justice and Equality, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 37 (3) of the Criminal Justice (Mutual Assistance) (Amendment) Act 2015 (No. 40 of 2015), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (Mutual Assistance) (Amendment) Act 2015 (Commencement) Order 2016.

2. The 1st day of February 2016 is appointed as the day on which the Criminal Justice (Mutual Assistance) (Amendment) Act 2015 (No. 40 of 2015), other than—

(a) section 24, and

(b) section 34, in so far as subsection (4A) of section 65 of the Criminal Justice Act 1994 (No. 15 of 1994) inserted by that section relates to section 60D of the Criminal Justice (Mutual Assistance) Act 2008 (No. 7 of 2008),

shall come into operation.
