S.I. No. 173/2015 - Construction Contracts (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2015.

Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 1st May, 2015.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 6 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act 1939 (No. 36 of 1939), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Construction Contracts (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2015.

2. In this Order the “2014 Order” means the Construction Contracts (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2014 ( S.I. No. 476 of 2014 ).

3. Article 2(1) of the 2014 Order is amended by substituting “Article 3” for “Article 4”.

4. Article 6 of the 2014 Order is amended by substituting “Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation” for “Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform”.

EXPLANATORY MEMORANDUM

This Order makes corrections to two sections of the Construction Contracts (Transfer of Departmental Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order 2014, which transfers the departmental administration and ministerial functions of the Construction Contracts Act 2013 from the Minister of Public Expenditure and Reform to the Minister of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation.
